Answer: Introduction Document Purpose and Scope This document outlines the vision to improve tablet computer interaction for the end-users of Tunstall Tele-health system that remotely monitors the health of patients. The Tele-health system can monitor the vital signs and symptoms of patients without the need to move to the clinic for a check-up as it can be operated from their home (Rashidi Mihailidis, 2013). Hence, this document will present the problems that may occur while running the Tele-health system in rural and remote locations to adopt a cloud-based mobile application for the older people living in the central west of NSW. The scope of this document is limited to the improvements in the hardware and software required to operate the Tele-health system in rural and remote regions as well as introducing a cloud-based mobile application. The cloud-based mobile application will focus on improving the capabilities and achieve beneficial results for the older people out of the system. Project Background In this project, it has been considered that the Tele-health system will be operated in the homes of older people living in rural and remote locations of NSW, so it is essential to enhance the hardware and software modules. The aim of this project is to provide a cloud based solution for the older people so that they are supported with ideal restorative consideration by guaranteeing the right professional has the right data at the ideal time (Artikis et al. 2012). The mobile application for the Tele-health system will help the older peoples to share relevant information and images so that they can be assisted by physicians from any location globally. Problem Statement Presently, the existing Tunstall Tele-health system can monitor the real time vital signs and symptoms of the patients health however it lacks in storing the previous relevant data that can be evaluated by other physicians. In the Tele-health system of Tunstall, the user has to be registered with a particular clinic for check-up or visit of a physician. It is a major drawback of the system, as the physicians of the particular clinic may not be available for a period (Kahn, 2015). Every time a user registers under a clinic in their local region, they have to provide the vitals and health statistics which is troublesome for the older peoples. Moreover, the system may be hampered by moderate Internet velocities, lack of quality and the necessity for at least some skills in computer. Capabilities The Tunstall Tele-health system is capable of monitoring the condition of people with long-term health conditions in a comfortable environment (Lustig, 2012). The primary purpose of Tele-health is to distinguish and follow up on any decline in the patient's condition before it becomes the matter that they oblige admission to doctor's facility. The cloud based mobile application for the Tele-health system will be capable of sharing all the important data and pictures in an organized presentation design custom-made to the medicinal convention. The adoption of this application will enable a customized interview work process with text-based notifications for pre-decided basic parameters (Reddy, Kumar Ramu, 2012). The application will manage data of patients by means of an incorporated individual wellbeing record on the cloud based secure environment. The benefits that will be achieved from this project by introducing cloud based mobile application are mentioned as below: Allows the doctors, clinicians, supervisors as well as patients to start searching for information Provides organized information catch and a protected trade of patient's clinical data (Artikis et al. 2012) Allows numerous professionals to counsel on the same case Allows reconciliation of information from different formats inclusive of electronic restorative records, examined archives or manual section (Bamiah, Brohi Chuprat, 2012) Allows access to pictures by means of a protected cloud-based system to any area with web access Conclusion Tunstall has a long and successful track record in Tele-healthcare; however, there is a need to make significant changes to the Tele-health system which is urgent and undeniable. It is mainly because slow internet speeds and lack of computer or tablet may hamper the system. Finally, this project has been presented to develop and adopt a cloud based mobile application that will support and motivate the older peoples living in rural and remote areas of NSW to use the Tunstall Tele-health system. The mobile application will provide the users with a secure environment, high flexibility and real-time connectivity that will instantly push contents to the older peoples in the central west of NSW.
